Cellarkalt 5.4

Cellarkalt is the ambitious experimental music project helmed by Benedikt Schmidt, which first emerged in 1999. This endeavor explores a diverse range of auditory elements, encompassing experimental soundscapes, dark ambient textures, Lo-Fi noise, as well as dadaist influences and other sonic explorations.

Schmidt has showcased his work through audio-visual live performances at prominent events such as the Krake Festival and Echo Bücher, both held in Berlin. These appearances highlight his innovative approach to integrating visual art with sound.

A German artist currently residing in Santanyí, Majorca, Schmidt is also known for founding the acid house project Snuff Crew and producing music under the moniker Snuffo. His versatility extends to his management of two record labels, Snuff Trax and In The Dark Again.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Schmidt is an author and the host of the radio show "Snuffo in Santanyí," further demonstrating his multifaceted contributions to the contemporary music landscape.
